When you use Prepzeva, we collect:

Account information — your name and email address when you sign up
Usage data — practice sessions, answers, scores, and streak information to power your progress tracking
Device information — basic device type and OS version for app compatibility
Payment information — processed securely by Paystack; we do not store card details

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve the Prepzeva service
To personalise your learning experience (weak topic detection, adaptive questions)
To process subscription payments via Paystack
To send important account and service notifications
To analyse aggregate usage patterns and improve the app

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

Supabase — our database and authentication provider
Paystack — our payment processor
Anthropic — to power the AI tutor feature (messages are not used to train models)

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at support@prepzeva.com.

5. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security on our database, and secure authentication. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable precautions to protect your data.

6. Children's Privacy

Prepzeva is designed for students preparing for JAMB and WAEC exams. Users under 13 require parental consent. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without parental consent.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and data
Withdraw consent for data processing at any time

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of Prepzeva after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
